Coma. Bar

Leisure and Retail / 2001

Mexico City

This is a bar designed and built in 2001. A tin exterior skin covers a plywood plane sheltering a bare two storey concrete structure in a corner in the Napoles district Mexico City. The stretcher frame of the covering folding allows the main doors turning into a street canopy, the cement interior floors visually extend the sidewalk inside. When the doors were closed the exterior remained a tin box. Additionally graphic designed banners were aside the bar; also the staff outfit was part of the whole set.
